Trim Levels
You can find the 2021 Toyota Tundra in six main trim levels. The first is the base SR model. It comes with an easy-lower tailgate, making it a breeze to load and unload the vehicle. When you upgrade to the SR5, the vehicle adds a sliding rear window, fog lights, and a chrome rear bumper. The Tundra Limited is next in line. This truck has LED headlights and a deck rail system with four adjustable tie-down cleats.
If you pick the Tundra TRD Pro, front tow hooks, a front skid plate, Fox rear shocks, and TRD Pro front shocks come standard. Additionally, if you pick a TRD Pro CrewMax, a sunroof is available. The Tundra Platinum is the next trim level up and it comes with a vertical power rear window. Finally, the Tundra 1794 Edition has unique exterior styling that sets it apart from other trucks on the road.
Engine
All 2021 Tundras are powered by a 5.7-liter V-8 engine. This engine can produce up to 381 horsepower at 5,600 rpm, and 401 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rpm. This truck can tow heavy loads without compromising on acceleration abilities, making it the perfect vehicle for heavy-duty tasks. Your next job can be a breeze when you're behind the wheel of a Toyota Tundra.
Performance
Two-wheel drive comes standard with the 2021 Tundra, but four-wheel drive is available. A six-speed automatic transmission also comes standard. This transmission is smooth, responsive, and easy to use. If you live in a colder climate, or you intend on driving your Tundra off-road, an automatic limited-slip rear differential can provide improved traction on snowy and sandy surfaces.
Interior
There's room for about five to six people in the Tundra. This Toyota truck comes with either an extended cab or a crew cab, depending on your preference. The Tundra also has fold-down armrests, as well as available captain's chairs, and heated and ventilated seating. Cloth upholstery is standard, but leather upholstery is available with the higher trim levels.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available with the 2021 Tundra. With these technology features, you can sync your smartphone to the Tundra and stream your music library, make hands-free phone calls, send hands-free text messages, and so much more.
Safety Features
The Toyota Tundra comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense P. This suite of driver-assist safety technologies is designed to make your experience behind the wheel as safe as possible. Included in Toyota Safety Sense P is adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane departure warning, and forward collision mitigation. If you upgrade to the SR5 with the Convenience Package, the vehicle additionally features blind-spot monitoring with rear-cross traffic alert, and front- and rear-parking sensors.
