Here in the Puget Sound area, we work hard and play hard. Sometimes that hard work and that hard play needs vehicle that can handle…well…hard. Like the Toyota Tundra.
The Toyota Tundra is a truck’s truck. What does mean? It looks like a Truck (yes, with a capital T), it acts like a Truck, and it hauls like a Truck. Did you notice what I left out? Drives like a truck. Because, according, to CarandDriver.com “the Tundra drives a little smaller than it is, which is a compliment…the steering is precise and its feedback appropriate, even on four-wheel-drive models, which require the 4.6 or 5.7-liter V-8.”
We think this is great news for Puget Sound drivers who need a Truck that can maneuver narrow and curvy city streets, launch a boat on opening day with many other trucks waiting their turn, and get you through tricky dirt roads (or drive ways, in some cases). No more parking far from you city destination because you aren’t sure you’ll be able to get around without dinging someone.
The other thing I left off was “feels like a truck,” because, well, it feels better than most trucks as we think of them. Rear-seat room in the Double Cab is more than adequate. Five six-footers can ride comfortably in that truck all day long.”
As far as the exterior of the Toyota Tundra, we’ll refer you to all the fancy pictures now available online or, even better, stop by Burien Toyota to take a look at one in person. There isn’t a more Truck looking truck out there with the higher hood and masculine fascia.
So it looks nice on the outside, it’s very nice on the inside, but with trucks, functionality is king, so what can it do? It will take your toys up and over the Cascade Mountains with ease, your garbage (and your neighbors) to the dump with no problem, and take stuff to and from the work-site like it’s not work at all.
While working, hauling, and towing are all very important features, the Toyota Tundra is also a vehicle that can easily and comfortably transport your family to and from your rugged destinations, whether it’s camping on the Olympic Peninsula or skiing at Mount Baker.
See all the details in the Toyota Tundra brochure and stop by Burien Toyota to take one for a test drive and see for yourself exactly how the Toyota Tundra is “rugged meets refined.”
